“I received information that among the voters there are people who have long since died. At first, I did not believe it, but then I was presented with evidence. One woman told me that her daughter is no longer with us, but her name continues to be on the list. Recently, another voter approached me whose husband also died, but his name is still in the lists. She tried to contact the Center for Public Services and reached out to various authorities, but the problem has not been resolved. Why is it so difficult to update this data?” – expressed his bewilderment the deputy.
This issue was raised in the context of discussing amendments to the Law “On the Personalized (Individual) Accounting of Citizens for the Purposes of Mandatory State Social Insurance.”
Nursultan Kubanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies, reported that currently about 100,000 citizens are facing issues related to duplicate PIN codes. “In addition to the mentioned problem, there are many other issues that require resolution. We propose to preliminarily consider the draft law. Your comments will be taken into account, and we will provide a response,” he added.
