At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh held on January 21, the First Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies Nursultan Kubanov reported that about 100,000 citizens are facing issues with the assignment of double and triple PINs. He presented a draft law aimed at addressing this situation.

According to Kubanov, this problem previously affected around 300,000 people, but 200,000 of them had their PINs canceled.

Dastan Bekeshev also raised the issue of PINs belonging to deceased citizens.

In response, Kubanov explained that a PIN is issued at birth, and after a citizen's death, it is subject to cancellation.

However, the deputy expressed doubt, asking why deceased individuals are still listed on the voter rolls.

“Voters have approached me. At first, I didn’t believe it, I thought it was impossible, but one woman brought documents for her deceased daughter, and another brought documents for her husband, who also passed away. Both are listed, and there are enough such cases. Why is there no data synchronization? Why don’t you remove them immediately? Although people write, government agencies do not respond,” emphasized Bekeshev.

Kylimbek Madalbekov, a representative of the state enterprise "Kyzmat," reported that the latest elections used up-to-date lists, including data from the civil registry system. He urged relatives of deceased citizens to contact the agency to resolve this issue.
