A group of mothers raising children with disabilities has reached out for support to President Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. A video of their appeal was posted on the "Sokol.Media" public page.
The women report that the only financial assistance they receive from the government amounts to just 8,000 soms a month, which is insufficient for their children's treatment. They emphasize that the cost of medications is too high, and many necessary drugs are difficult to find even in pharmacy chains. As a result, they have to search for medications through specialized groups.
Additionally, housing remains a problem: as the mothers note, landlords refuse to rent apartments to families with children with disabilities.
“We receive an allowance of 8,000 soms a month, but this money is not enough for anything. Medications are very expensive. Finding housing with children is also difficult. We ask for help in solving these problems,” they share in their appeal.
Previously, a video with a similar call from mothers to President Sadyr Japarov had already appeared on social media.
