At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Ulugbek Karybek uulu proposed inviting representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the State Antimonopoly Agency, and the company "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan." This is necessary to clarify the reasons that led to the situation with high bills.

According to the deputy, subscribers are expressing dissatisfaction due to unjustifiably high amounts in their natural gas bills. He noted that it is essential to thoroughly investigate this issue.

“During October and November, the company was unable to correctly calculate the indicators, resulting in subscribers receiving bills for three months at once. The official response indicated that failures in telemetry led to the real indicators not being accounted for, and then, when the system was restored, subscribers received bills for three months. I request that a protocol directive be prepared to hear their report. There are large families, pensioners, and low-income citizens who are facing such problems,” he added.

Chairman Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu agreed on the importance of the raised issue and called on the relevant committee to develop an appropriate solution.
