During the winter period, predatory animals such as jackals become more active and can threaten the safety of residents in villages. Moreover, their reproduction negatively impacts the populations of rare birds and wild animals inhabiting the mountain forests.

To address this issue, planned hunting operations continue in the region aimed at reducing the number of these pests. During recent activities, 4 jackals were eliminated in the Aitmatov district, 4 in the Manas district, and 7 in the Talas district.

It is important to note that hunting is carried out with the participation of licensed hunters who have all the necessary permits. Previously, preventive and protective measures were implemented to safeguard the local fauna.
