As reported by the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Interior Ministry of the Chui region, worsening weather conditions and snowfall have led to an intensification of snow removal efforts on the Bishkek—Osh highway and its treatment with inert materials, aimed at ensuring road safety.
In turn, the Moscow district traffic safety department urged drivers to strictly adhere to the rules. "From early morning, road enterprises No. 28 and No. 40 are operating in an enhanced mode: they are clearing snow and spreading a sand-salt mixture on the Bishkek—Kara-Balta highway. Similar work is also being carried out on the inter-village road Belyovodskoye-Tölök. If such measures are not implemented promptly, the roads may be covered with snow, creating a dangerous situation. Therefore, we warn drivers: strictly follow traffic rules, do not exceed the speed limit, and do not enter the oncoming lane," the inspectors reported.
