At a meeting of the Bishkek City Council's commission on social issues, Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev presented a draft resolution that proposes providing free public transport for a specific category of citizens. Currently, there are already five categories in the capital that have this right.

It is planned to introduce a sixth category, which will include personal assistants accompanying people with disabilities.

According to Aliyev, a special "Tulpar" card will be developed for these assistants, allowing them to use it even without the person with a disability. However, it is important that the assistant has residency in the city.

Victoria Mozgacheva, Aliyev's colleague, noted that this initiative pertains only to personal assistants helping citizens with first-group disabilities who cannot care for themselves independently.

Additionally, Mozgacheva suggested that the lists of these citizens be submitted to the transport department centrally, to avoid the need to collect additional documents.

The commission ultimately supported this project.
