Starting from January 24, a new livestock market will begin operating in the village of Chym-Korgon, located in the Kemin district of the Chui region. This was announced by Almaz Dubanaev, the head of the village council of the Chym-Korgon rural area.

He specified that the market will be open on January 24 and 25. “For those coming from Sokuluk and the city of Tokmok, a bypass road is available — the market will be clearly visible from the highway. And for travelers from the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions, it is recommended to use the internal road Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart, following the signs without going onto the bypass,” he added.

According to the village council, the new livestock market occupies an area of 11 hectares, of which 5 hectares are allocated directly for the market, while the remaining 6 hectares will be used for a cafeteria, shops, trading points for construction materials, and other facilities.

Turmush previously reported that the livestock market in Tokmok was closed due to identified violations. As a result, the construction of new markets began both in the village of Vinogradnoe in the Chui region and in Chym-Korgon.
