In Uzgen, police officers from the Osh region detained a man suspected of murdering 25-year-old E. M. This was reported by the press service of the regional internal affairs department.
The incident occurred on January 24, when the Uzgen police station received a signal from a local hospital. A young man with serious injuries was brought there. Unfortunately, despite the doctors' efforts, he died from a penetrating wound caused by a sharp object.
The investigative authorities opened a criminal case under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Murder"). During operational activities, law enforcement quickly identified the suspect, who turned out to be 30-year-old K. uulu S. from the region. He attempted to flee after the incident but was apprehended and is currently in a temporary detention facility.
The preliminary version of the investigation indicates that the conflict arose from a dispute over the right of way on the road. Currently, forensic examinations are being conducted, and law enforcement continues to gather evidence in the case.
