According to information provided by the press service of the Osh region police department, on January 24, a signal was received at the Uzgen police station from a local hospital that E. M., born in 1999, had died from a serious stab wound.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Murder," and operational investigative actions began.
Officers of the criminal investigation department of the Uzgen police station were able to detain the suspect the same day; he turned out to be K. uulu S., born in 1993. Law enforcement agencies note that after the incident, he left the scene but was soon caught and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Preliminary data indicate that the conflict between the deceased and the suspect arose from a dispute over the right of way on the road.
Currently, necessary examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are ongoing.
