Based on the collected data, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
With the help of "Safe City" cameras and during operational search activities, the suspect was detained in the territory of the Kochkor District when checkpoints were set up. The detained individual was identified as B. u. K., born in 1996. He was taken to the Investigative Service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A 29-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder in Bishkek.
The preliminary investigation showed that a conflict arose between the suspect and the victim during alcohol consumption, which ultimately escalated into a fight. During this altercation, the detainee, according to police data, inflicted bodily harm on the victim, from which he died.
Investigative actions are ongoing, forensic examinations have been appointed, and all circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
