OPEC will allocate a loan of 30 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan

The loan will be allocated to OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz"

Kyrgyzstan will receive a budget loan of 30 million dollars from the OPEC Fund for International Development. The loan term will be 20 years, with the first 5 years designated as a grace period at an interest rate of 1.25%.

The Cabinet of Ministers plans to use these funds as a budget loan for the modernization of the oil refinery owned by OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz".

The bill concerning the attraction of this loan was approved by the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on international affairs, security, defense, and migration in the second reading.
