The total amount of financing will be 8.3 million euros
On January 12, a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh took place, during which a bill on the ratification of agreements on a loan and grant between Kyrgyzstan and the EBRD for the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities in Osh was approved.
The project includes the upgrade of the first complex of wastewater treatment facilities in the city of Osh. The total amount of financing is 8.3 million euros, of which 4 million euros will be provided as a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for 15 years with a 4-year grace period and an interest rate of 1% per annum plus Euribor for 6 months. The remaining funds will be provided in the form of grants.
