During the inspection, it became known that major repairs are being carried out on the first floor in the entrance area. The administration of the facility reported that the work is being done in stages, starting with the VIP hall, which is connected to the kitchen.
According to officials, "the technological equipment is sufficient in quantity and is functioning properly. The outdated equipment previously mentioned in the media has been dismantled. New equipment has been installed and is already in operation. However, there are issues in the warehouse, corridors, and some production areas: plaster is falling off, humidity is elevated, and mold is forming due to insufficient ventilation. This highlights the need for a major renovation of the kitchen," the official statement said.
As a result of the inspection, cockroaches were found in the kitchen and food preparation areas, leading to recommendations for cleaning and complete disinfection of the premises.
Based on the identified violations, the "Aurora" recreation center was fined under Article 214 of the Code of Offenses, with the fine amounting to 5,000 soms, as reported by the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.
It is worth noting that earlier, Member of Parliament Eruulan Kokulov published a video on social media taken at the "Aurora" sanatorium, where he pointed out a number of violations of sanitary and hygienic standards in the food block and storage areas. The administration of the sanatorium stated that all work is being carried out according to plan and in stages, with the aim of bringing the facility up to modern standards, and all emerging issues are being addressed in a working manner.
