Erlan Kokulov, a deputy, posted a video on social media filmed at the "Aurora" sanatorium, in which he points out serious violations of sanitary and hygiene standards found in the food block and storage areas.

In response, the press service of the sanatorium reported that a phased renovation is currently underway at the facility.

“It should be noted that a major renovation is being conducted for the first time since the opening of the sanatorium. The ongoing work represents the first large-scale update in all this time. Previously, facade work and other infrastructure projects were completed. Currently, the renovation of public areas is ongoing, and a major renovation of the living rooms is scheduled to begin in March of this year. All work is being carried out sequentially, without interrupting essential services,” the press release states.

In the video, the deputy also emphasizes the presence of cockroaches. The administration of the sanatorium clarifies that the filming took place in storage areas during the renovation, not in the dining hall or on the active kitchen. During construction work, temporary sanitary deviations may occur in technical zones; however, this does not reflect the overall sanitary condition of the facility. The cockroaches captured on camera became part of the visual content filmed during the renovation. After the work is completed, a thorough sanitary treatment will be conducted in the premises,” the statement emphasizes.

The video also mentions that some individuals reached out to the deputy.

“As a result of an internal investigation, it was found that these were former employees who resigned voluntarily. Their departure is linked to violations of internal regulations, including improper actions with food products. All circumstances were documented in accordance with established procedures,” the administration of the sanatorium added.

Furthermore, the administration noted that the sanatorium's revenues are growing annually. In 2023, they amounted to over 140 million soms, in 2024 — 170 million, and in 2025, it is planned to reach 239 million soms.

Sustained revenue growth has been made possible by the implementation of digital technologies, accounting and control systems, which have increased the transparency of all processes. The increase in revenue allows for phased financing of repairs and modernization of infrastructure, as well as updating the material and technical base.

It was also noted that the Aurora Green and Aurora Plus facilities were previously unfinished. After being transferred to the sanatorium's balance, they were completed, equipped, and brought into proper condition. Currently, the cottage towns are operational and meet modern requirements.

The administration emphasizes that all work is being carried out according to plan and is under control. The sanatorium is being updated consistently, and all emerging issues are addressed in a working manner.

The management provided a video demonstrating the current renovation work and plans for further updates to the "Aurora."
