On January 23, 2026, field schools on constitutionalism were held in Osh, organized by the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. The events were attended by the chairman of the court Emil Oskonbaev and judges Chinara Aydarbekova and Meerjul Bobukejeva.

These educational events were aimed at two professional groups. The first part took place at the Osh State University, where faculty members from the law departments of OshSU and Jalal-Abad State University gathered. The second part was organized at the Osh Regional Court for judges from the Osh and Jalal-Abad regional courts, as well as district courts in these regions.

Participants discussed key issues regarding the significance of constitutionalism for the formation of a rule of law, the role of the Constitutional Court in the state system, as well as practical aspects of applying its acts and principles of constitutional law in judicial practice.

Emil Oskonbaev, addressing the participants, noted that a constant professional dialogue is necessary for the development of constitutionalism. He added that the field format of the schools promotes closer interaction with the regions and helps to take into account the real needs of both the judicial and academic environments.

The format of the schools included open discussions and active Q&A sessions. At the end of the events, participants were awarded certificates.
