President Sadyr Japarov responded to criticism directed at the authorities, who are accused of destroying the private sector of driver education.

Amid the introduction of a state monopoly that prohibits training in private driving schools, owners claim that their businesses are being effectively destroyed in the country.

In a conversation with the "Kabar" agency, the president noted that driving school owners had been informed in advance about the upcoming changes:

“We gave them warnings. Starting in 2026, the licensing of driving schools will be discontinued, and significant reforms will take place in this sector. However, many continued to operate under the old schemes. It was more profitable for them to train students in a short period and issue certificates, prioritizing profit over the responsibility for education. This important area cannot be neglected. Nevertheless, driving school staff will not be left without work; they will be employed in government institutions,” the president emphasized.
