According to FOMS, the initiative to appeal to the EAEU Court regarding access to social security, including mandatory health insurance for the families of workers, was implemented on the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted through the Center for Judicial Representation under the Ministry of Justice.
It is specified that this appeal was the result of a meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, during which the head of FOMS, Azamat Mukhanov, outlined measures aimed at protecting the rights of citizens of Kyrgyzstan working abroad and their families in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Fund noted that Kyrgyzstan is actively fulfilling its obligations within the Union. Families of workers from EAEU states legally residing in Kyrgyzstan already have access to medical services in the mandatory health insurance system, as provided for in the State Guarantees Program.
The Kyrgyz side regularly initiates discussions on providing similar rights to the families of Kyrgyz citizens working in other countries of the Union. The appeal to the EAEU Court is viewed as part of the ongoing dialogue within the framework of the integration association.
