Earlier, in April 2025, it was already reported about the intention to equip deputies with luxury crossovers from the Chinese company Li Xiang:
- L7 — 70 cars;
- L9 — 20 cars.
These cars were supposed to be distributed among the chairpersons of committees and faction leaders. The head of the president's office, Kanbek Tumanbaev, confirmed the information about the purchase of Li Xiang L7 and L8 models but refused to disclose the amount allocated for these purposes.
The market price of such cars ranges from 30 to 70 thousand dollars.
It is worth reminding that last year, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh discussed the issue of providing official cars, which took place in a closed session. Let us recall that since 2015, official cars for deputies have been abolished.
