
The Prime Minister of the country also attended this meeting. Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized the important achievements of 2025, among which he highlighted the successful resolution of issues related to the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
“The number of countries with which the Kyrgyz Republic has established diplomatic relations has reached 185. We opened our first embassy on the African continent. Over the year, 190 events were held, and 633 international agreements and documents were signed,” he reported.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the need to develop practical solutions in the areas of multimodal transport, digital logistics, and transport connectivity, as well as to promote projects in wind and solar energy, small hydropower plants, and attract investments in large tourism projects.
“The presidency of our republic in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is of particular significance, as is the preparation for the summit that will take place in Bishkek in 2026. It is important to continue the Ministry's efforts to promote Kyrgyzstan's candidacy as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028,” he added, giving a number of instructions.
