Maria Zakharova commented on the situation regarding mandatory health insurance.
At a recent briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, denied rumors that Kyrgyzstan had filed a lawsuit against Russia in the EAEU court regarding mandatory health insurance.
“Some media outlets reported that Kyrgyzstan allegedly initiated legal proceedings. This is not true. The Kyrgyz side also quickly confirmed this information,” she noted.
Zakharova clarified that in fact, discussions are taking place regarding the clarification of the norms of mandatory health insurance concerning the provision of medical assistance to migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Russia.
It is worth reminding that earlier there was information in the press that Kyrgyzstan had sued Russia due to the refusal to provide free medical services on the territory of the country.
