Kyrgyzstan continues an active dialogue with European countries. In an interview with Euronews, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov shared his views on potential sanctions from the European Union directed against the country.
“We are certainly concerned that misunderstandings may arise. We are sometimes disappointed by some of these sanctions. They seem to aim at identifying weaknesses. We are focused on cooperation and are ready to explain and defend our pragmatic interests in national development, while concentrating on internal affairs,” Baisalov emphasized.
