The speaker noted that under the leadership of the president, significant reforms have been implemented in the country in recent years, contributing to economic growth, enhancing the fight against corruption, and strengthening Kyrgyzstan's position on the international stage.
He highlighted the importance of the Jogorku Kenesh's contribution to these processes and stated the parliament's intention to strengthen its role in the future.
Mamataliyev reminded that the people recently elected new deputies (the VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh began its work in mid-December 2025. — Note from 24.kg), entrusting them with the mandate to represent their interests.
“This is a great responsibility, and we cannot let down those who have trusted us,” he added.
One of the new speaker's priority tasks is to ensure equal treatment of deputies by the parliament's apparatus, regardless of their regional affiliation.
We live in one state, and it is unacceptable to allow division into “ours” and “others” or division by regions. We will put an end to this.

He also expressed his intention to increase the efficiency of the parliament's work, including visits with deputies to their constituencies.
Plans include the creation of a special platform where, on Fridays, urgent issues will be promptly discussed and resolved together with deputies and representatives of relevant agencies.
