Digital transformation will be a priority for the new speaker
Today, during the regular session of the Jogorku Kenesh, the new speaker Marlen Mamataliyev presented his plans for changes in the work of the parliament to the deputies.
He emphasized that the main focus will be on transitioning to more digital technologies: each deputy will be provided with tablets, and interaction with the government and citizens will partially take place online. In addition, public reception offices for citizens are planned to be opened in the parliament building.
According to Mamataliyev, the implementation of these initiatives will optimize work processes, speed up decision-making, and make the activities of the parliament more transparent to society.
It is worth noting that Marlen Mamataliyev was elected as speaker just a week ago. At today's plenary session, he spoke for the first time in his new role and outlined the directions from which he will begin his activities.
