Central Asia is demonstrating a transition to a qualitatively new level of its development. This was reported by Azamat Sulimanov, head of the Department of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan, at the international conference "C6: A Unified Region, A Common Future — Strengthening Strategic Dialogue," held in Baku.

He noted that in a relatively short period, the region has managed to move from simple dialogue to genuine partnership, which has manifested in the resolution of territorial disputes, the opening of borders, and the activation of cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, and transport. Consultative meetings of Central Asian leaders have played an important role in this process, becoming the foundation for the formation of the architecture of regional partnership.

Sulimanov also emphasized that such meetings have proven to be an effective tool for systematic and direct interaction between heads of state.
