
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Iskender Sulaymanov has been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister.
Sulaymanov, born in 1985 in Kara-Balta, is of Kyrgyz nationality and holds the military rank of reserve lieutenant colonel.
It is worth noting that the appointment of the new head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was also announced earlier: Urmatbek Shamyrkanov has taken this position.
This measure is aimed at improving the work of the ministry and enhancing the effectiveness of the emergency response system in the country.
- In 2007, Iskender Sulaymanov graduated from the Bishkek Higher Military School of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, obtaining a degree in "Motorized Rifle Tactics and Command of Military Units" and the qualification of an engineer.
- He graduated with honors from the Academy of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in 2015.
- From 2007 to 2021, he served in various units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In 2021, he held the position of advisor to the deputy speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, and in 2022-2023, he continued to work in this capacity.
- From 2023 to 2025, he was the deputy head of the apparatus of the Jogorku Kenesh, and in 2025-2026, he headed the department of the parliamentary committee on science, education, innovative development, culture, sports, and youth affairs.
- During his service, Iskender Sulaymanov was awarded both departmental and state awards. In 2010, he received the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic medal "Azamat" III degree for participating in stabilizing the situation in the Osh region. He also has a letter of gratitude from the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and several medals "For Distinction in Military Service" and "For Impeccable Service."
