Recently, two National Cardiological Centers held an introduction of new leaders, which took place with the participation of Aibek Matkerimov, the First Deputy Minister of Health, and his colleague Bakytbek Kadyraliev.

According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, Talant Eraliyev became the new director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy named after M. Mirrakhimov, while Jalil Sheishenov was appointed head of the Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation.

During the introduction, Aibek Matkerimov emphasized the importance of coordinated work within the cardiological care system, noting that previously identified problems require management decisions. He expressed hope that the new team would be able to ensure discipline and improve clinical outcomes.






Information about the new leaders:

Talant Eraliyev

Born in 1987, Kyrgyz, higher medical education.

In 2011, he graduated from the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov in St. Petersburg, obtaining a degree in "General Medicine." In the following years, Eraliyev completed an internship in "Surgery" and a course in interventional cardiology in Almaty.

From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a senior resident in the surgical department of the Military Hospital in Osh. In 2013–2014, he was also an interventional cardiologist at the "Cardio Asia Plus" center.

From 2016 to 2022, he was the head of the surgical department of the same hospital and worked in several other medical institutions. From 2019 to 2023, he served as the head of the medical service at the Military Hospital.

Eraliyev is a candidate of medical sciences and the chairman of the "Kyrgyz Scientific Medical Society of Radiology and Endovascular Surgeons."

Jalil Sheishenov

Born in 1975, Kyrgyz, higher medical education.

Sheishenov graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in 1999. He completed a clinical residency in cardiovascular surgery and began his career at the Research Institute. From 2007 to 2021, he was the head of the cardiac surgery department at the center in Taraz.

He also held the position of deputy director of this center and worked as the chief physician of "Bishkek Cardio" from 2023 to January 2026.

Sheishenov defended his candidate dissertation and is the author of numerous scientific works, as well as a member of several scientific societies.

His main areas of activity include surgery for congenital heart defects and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, as well as organizational and methodological work with primary care physicians.

For his work in Kazakhstan, he has been awarded various honorary certificates and badges.
