Adilet Orozbekov was born in 1978 and received his education at the International University of Kyrgyzstan, studying diplomacy and international law, and later underwent training at the FSB Academy of the Russian Federation.
He is fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English.
Orozbekov holds the rank of colonel and the class rank of advisor of the 1st class of the state civil service. His career began in 2001 in the national security agencies, where he worked in various positions, including leadership roles, until 2017.
From 2007 to 2009, he served as the deputy head of the department of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic responsible for protecting the constitutional order. From 2009 to 2010, he was the head of the international cooperation department and deputy head of the management. From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a chief expert at the anti-terrorism center of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. Then, starting in 2017, he continued his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as in the office of the national coordinator for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. From 2017 to 2019, he was a referent at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing, and in 2023-2024, he worked as an expert in the Situational Center of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Since December 2025, he has been a state inspector in the department of defense, law enforcement, and security of the office for monitoring the implementation of decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers.
