Today in Bishkek, a ceremony was held for the transfer of special equipment to the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Minister Urmatbek Shamyrkanov informed the Kabar agency that excavators, loaders, trucks, and other vehicles have been received by the ministry, which will be used in case of emergencies.
The ceremony took place at the Turdakun Usubaliev Square, where the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev symbolically handed over the keys to the new vehicles to the Minister of Emergency Situations.
Shamyrkanov noted that the mountainous terrain of Kyrgyzstan makes the country vulnerable to various emergencies, and having such equipment is extremely important.
“Today we received 116 units of special equipment, which were purchased with budget funds and with the support of the World Bank. These machines are intended for quick response in emergency situations: excavators, loaders, trucks, and other necessary devices,” said the minister.He also mentioned that tractors were provided for the forestry service, as well as specialized equipment for bank reinforcement using reinforced concrete structures.
The minister added that to enhance operational efficiency, 20 JAC brand vehicles were received.
“There are 40 districts in the republic, and only 20 of them had the necessary operational vehicles. The new 20 JAC vehicles will be distributed across the regions to ensure rapid response,” noted Shamyrkanov.
