A significant event took place at Depot No. 1, attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev. He was present at the ceremony of handing over 95 new buses and 42 units of special equipment to the Bishkek city administration.

“Today we are providing the capital's city administration with 95 modern buses and 42 units of specialized equipment. This is an important step towards renewing public transport and improving urban services. The Bishkek city administration continues to prioritize the development of the city, improving the environmental situation, and creating comfortable conditions for its residents. In this direction, over 17,000 trees have been planted, and green zones have been expanded. A modern eco-technological plant for processing solid household waste and producing electricity has started operating,” noted the head of the government.

Additionally, Kasymaliev emphasized that the construction of new kindergartens and schools, as well as underground passages, continues in Bishkek, contributing to the creation of a safe and convenient urban infrastructure. “All these activities are being carried out by the city administration in a consistent and targeted manner,” he added.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also highlighted that work on the technical modernization of municipal enterprises will continue. He urged city service employees to treat the new equipment responsibly and to improve the quality of services provided to the population.

“Each vehicle and unit of equipment is a valuable resource for the city's residents. Their careful and proper use, as well as justifying the trust of the population, is a direct responsibility of each of you,” said Kasymaliev, noting that the new buses and special equipment will serve as an additional incentive for the city's development, expand the capabilities of municipal services, and simplify their work.

The Youtong buses, 12 meters long, were purchased as part of the program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Among the 42 units of special equipment purchased with budget funds are emergency vehicles, dump trucks, hydraulic cranes, and trench vibratory rollers, including JAC T-6 vehicles.
