Previously, athletes had already raised a number of questions regarding the difficulties in their field.
Marlen Mamataliyev noted that in recent years, significant attention has been paid to the development of physical culture and sports. He cited the construction of numerous sports facilities, carried out with the support of President Sadyr Japarov, as an example. However, in his opinion, the current legislation does not meet modern requirements.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of joint work and the exchange of opinions to assess the current situation: "No one knows the problems in this area better than you," he addressed the meeting participants.
For the sustainable development of sports, Mamataliyev believes it is necessary to clearly define the powers of agencies and federations, as well as to establish the amounts of state funding. The transparency of budget expenditures was highlighted as an important aspect.
During the discussion, participants proposed creating a separate law on professional sports, which should take into account the work experience of athletes and provide support in case of accidents. It was also noted that clear mechanisms for participation in national and international competitions need to be developed.
Coaches and athletes voiced numerous proposals that will be taken into account in the development of new legislative initiatives.
