
The ministers expressed serious concern over the rise in violence in the Middle East
At a meeting held on March 7 in Istanbul under the leadership of the Secretary General of the Organization, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the foreign ministers of the member states of the Turkic States Organization discussed the current situation in the Middle Eastern region and prepared a joint statement.
During the negotiations, the participants condemned the attacks on Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as any actions that threaten the lives of civilians and the stability of the region. They expressed serious concern regarding the escalation of violence in the area.
The ministers called for the prevention of such incidents, emphasizing that they worsen the situation in the region and could lead to the expansion of conflicts.
Furthermore, they reaffirmed their support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries, calling for the resolution of conflicts through peaceful means and dialogue, based on the principles of international law and diplomatic norms.
