He noted that efforts to eradicate corruption will continue regardless of the circumstances.
“There will be no mercy. Even if it turns out to be my own brother, I will not make exceptions. But, fortunately, my brothers and children are not involved in public service, so I feel at ease,” he added.
According to Japarov, a corrupt person poses a greater danger than a murderer, as the latter only kills an individual, while corruption can destroy an entire nation. “I urge you to actively participate in the fight against corruption. If you notice any cases of theft or corruption among representatives of power, do not hesitate to speak about it openly. This will be an important support for me. Do not be afraid, I will be on your side and protect you,” the president concluded.
