In Kyrgyzstan, a draft law has been developed that proposes to reduce the response time for citizens' appeals from government bodies from 14 to 10 working days. This document has already been presented for discussion to the general public.

The amendments concern Article 8 of the Law "On the Procedure for Considering Citizens' Appeals," where it is proposed to lower the established response time.

According to the rationale for the initiative, this proposal is part of a broader digital transformation in the field of public administration. Over the past few years, various agencies have transitioned to electronic document management and automated management systems, which significantly speeds up the processes of registering and coordinating documents. This, in turn, allows for a quicker response to citizens' appeals.

The initiative group claims that the modern technical and organizational capabilities of government institutions enable them to effectively process requests, including appeals from citizens located outside the country. Reducing the response time for appeals is expected to enhance trust in government structures, ensure greater transparency in their operations, and accelerate the provision of public services.
