According to the new regulations, mandatory proficiency in the Kyrgyz language at a level established by government standards is required for a number of categories of positions. The requirement for knowledge of the official language remains at a level necessary for the performance of official duties.
These changes affect the qualification requirements for employees at various levels and are aimed at implementing the provisions of the constitutional Law "On the State Language".
The government emphasizes that this resolution is aimed at enhancing the role of the state language in the field of public administration and improving the quality of administrative work.
The new rules will come into effect 10 days after their official publication.
