At a meeting of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, deputies expressed concern about the violation of the rights of citizens working in Russia. During the discussion, several parliamentarians shared this issue.

Ulukbek Karybek uulu noted that he receives numerous appeals from Kyrgyz migrants reporting various difficulties they face in Russia.

He emphasized that among these problems, registration is a significant concern. "Embassy and consulate staff must intensify their activities in this area," he added.

Deputy Aigul Akhmedova also pointed out that Kyrgyz citizens in Russia can find themselves on the list of controlled persons for minor reasons, which carries the risk of deportation.

She explained that those recognized as violators are sent to the "Sakharovo" center in the Moscow region, where they can stay for up to a month and are forced to work in harsh conditions. "The cost of document processing reaches 70,000 rubles, and some citizens wait for their turn for up to three months without the ability to work," Akhmedova said.

The deputy called on the government to simplify migration procedures, ease registration and accounting, and expedite the document review process to protect citizens from long waits and unjustified deportation.
