“We really gave a great speech and received a lot of praise. I can’t believe it, because I’m usually called a terrible dictator. I am a dictator, but sometimes it’s necessary. However, this time there was no such opinion,” Trump reflected.
In his speech, he also criticized European countries, called for immediate negotiations regarding the purchase of Greenland, and mentioned the use of unique weapons by Washington in Venezuela.
Some key statements from Trump:
- “I love Europe and wish it prosperity, but in recent decades it has been moving in the wrong direction.”
- “We have excellent cooperation with Venezuela. After the attack was over, they said, ‘Let’s make a deal.’ More people should act like that.”
- “Honestly, many regions of the world are collapsing before our eyes, and leaders do not realize what is happening, and those who understand do nothing.”
- “The U.S. avoided the energy collapse that all European countries are facing. Wind turbines are destroying your land.”
- “After the war, we returned Greenland to Denmark. That was a stupid decision.”
- “Europeans should mind their own business and abandon the culture that has developed over the last 10 years. They are destroying themselves, and we need strong allies.”
- “Perhaps we won’t achieve anything if we don’t apply significant force regarding Greenland, but I’m not going to do that.”
- “Two weeks ago, Venezuelans saw weapons they had never seen before. They couldn’t shoot at us. The anti-aircraft missiles didn’t work. One missile flew 30 feet and fell near those who launched it. They didn’t understand what was happening.”
- “Think about it, these missiles can fly over Greenland. If a war starts, most actions will take place on that island.”
- “We are creating a ‘Golden Dome’ that will protect Canada. Canada receives a lot of help from us, and they should be grateful, although they don’t express it. I listened to your Prime Minister’s speech, and he didn’t thank us.”
- “I have always had good relations with Chairman Xi and President Putin.”
- “NATO treats the U.S. unfairly.”
- “Steve Whitcoff is successfully handling the situation in Ukraine, and there will be no Third World War.”
