
At the forum in Davos, the first participants of the Gaza initiative were announced
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the first members of his new initiative called the "Council of Peace" during the forum in Davos.
High-profile officials from 19 countries gathered on stage, presented as the founders of this group led by Trump.
Among those present were representatives from Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UAE, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia.
It is noteworthy that there were no leaders from Western Europe on stage, as emphasized by the Financial Times.
The final composition of the Council of Peace is expected to include world leaders. Initially, the group was created to work on the reconstruction of Gaza, but its tasks have been significantly expanded.
