Recently, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine, the USA, and Russia concluded in Abu Dhabi. According to information from Reuters, these discussions took place in two rounds, each lasting over three hours.

According to Russian sources, the head of the Russian delegation was the chief of the GRU, Igor Kostyukov, who returned to the hotel after the meetings and then flew out of the UAE.

As reported by Axios correspondent Barak Ravid, Ukrainian officials confirmed that the negotiations will continue next week in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the journalist, the trilateral discussions in Abu Dhabi were characterized as "positive" and "constructive," with the next round scheduled for next week.

So far, official representatives of the participating countries have not commented on the results of the meetings.

Axios also mentions that at the end of the second day of negotiations, the delegations had a joint lunch.

"At one point, all participants looked almost like friends, which inspired hope," noted one source.

According to media reports, new negotiations are scheduled for February 1 in Abu Dhabi.
