Kyrgyzstani Illegal Immigrant Detained in the USA for Deadly Car Accident

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan who was involved in an accident that resulted in the deaths of four people. This information was reported on the official ICE website.

According to the agency, B.B., born in 1995, illegally crossed the U.S. border using the CBP One app and then obtained a commercial driver's license in Pennsylvania.

The traffic incident occurred on February 3 at around 4:00 PM. At the time of the accident, the Kyrgyzstani was driving a truck and was traveling on State Route 67 in Indiana. Preliminary data indicates that he was unable to stop in front of slowed traffic, crossed into oncoming lanes, and collided with a minibus carrying up to 15 passengers. As a result of the collision, four people were killed.

The detention took place on the morning of February 5.
