In the Uzgen district of the Osh region, law enforcement agencies detained police officers who extorted money using a minor girl. This information was announced at the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to local law enforcement, the senior district inspector, along with colleagues from the juvenile affairs department, conspired in advance and forced a 16-year-old girl to participate in illegal intimate acts with certain individuals. They then staged a "detention" and, using psychological pressure and blackmail, began extorting money.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspects. On February 4, GKNB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Service conducted the detention of these individuals, who were placed in a temporary detention facility.
