According to preliminary investigations, police captain Z. u. A. together with juvenile inspectors N. A. N. and A. u. A. created a scheme for extorting money, using the minor T. A. U., born in 2008, for "sexual acts with certain individuals according to a pre-established plan".
The investigative department of the GKNB in the Osh region has initiated a criminal case, and on February 4, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' SVR detained the mentioned police officers, who are now in the GKNB temporary detention facility.
“During the investigative actions, confessions were obtained, as well as other instances of so-called setups committed by involved law enforcement officers and civilians,” the agency's statement noted.
Particular concern is raised by the fact that among those detained were juvenile inspectors, whose duties include protecting children's rights and preventing offenses.
“At the moment, necessary measures are being taken within the framework of the criminal case aimed at fully documenting the unlawful activities of the mentioned 'wolves in uniform',” the agency concluded.
