In the Osh region, in the Uzgen district, law enforcement officers involved in a case of involving a minor in sexual acts were detained. This was reported by the press service of the GKNB.
The agency established that the senior police officer of the Uzgen district, Z.u.A., along with juvenile inspectors N.A.N. and A.u.A., developed a criminal scheme. They extorted money by pushing the minor T.A.U., born in 2008, into intimate relationships with certain men, following a pre-agreed plan.
The police officers attracted the minor to wealthy men and then carried out fake arrests, applying psychological pressure and blackmail to gain financial benefit.
The investigative department of the GKNB for the city of Osh and the Osh region has initiated a criminal case regarding this matter. On February 4 of this year, employees of the Uzgen ROVD were detained in cooperation with the SVR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and placed in the IVS of the GKNB detention center in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigative activities, confessions were obtained, as well as other instances of "setups" by the detained law enforcement officers and civilians were identified.
"Particular concern is raised by the fact that among those detained were juvenile inspectors, whose official duties include protecting the rights of children and preventing offenses," the agency's statement noted.
Currently, necessary actions are ongoing to fully document the illegal activities of the mentioned "wolves in uniform" within the framework of the investigated criminal case.
