According to information provided by the local municipality, the man accused of domestic violence worked at the Municipal Enterprise "Zhasyl Charba" from July to December 2025.
Previously, his employment at the city hall was reported by the Bakai-Ata district department of labor, social protection, and migration.
The 32-year-old suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is being conducted by the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek. According to the Talas regional prosecutor's office, the case materials have also been forwarded to the Bakai-Ata District Department of Internal Affairs for further investigation.
On October 15 of last year, a 28-year-old resident of the village of Boo-Terek named M.T. became a victim of violence. In a state of alcohol intoxication, the man came home, had a quarrel, beat his wife, and threatened to kill her. He then doused her with gasoline and set her on fire. The victim tried to extinguish the flames with water, and passersby responded to her cries for help, taking her to the hospital. Three days after being hospitalized in Talas, the victim was transferred to the capital due to her severe condition. She spent a month in intensive care and then received treatment in the burn unit of the City Clinical Emergency Hospital until December 18.
On February 5, 2026, M.T. again contacted law enforcement, reporting that her husband, D.Z., born in 1995, continues to threaten and beat her.
