According to the publication, General Alekseev successfully underwent surgery and has been brought out of a medically induced coma.
The detainees have already been taken in for questioning, as noted in the investigation materials.
It is worth recalling that the assassination attempt on the general occurred on the morning of February 6. The attacker was waiting for him on the stair landing in a building on Volokolamsk Highway and fired several shots at Alekseev, who sustained injuries to his limbs, abdomen, and chest, resulting in significant blood loss. The general was urgently hospitalized in intensive care.
A representative of the Investigative Committee, Svetlana Petrenko, reported that a criminal case has been opened in connection with this incident under articles concerning attempted murder and illegal circulation of weapons. The Prosecutor's Office of Moscow has taken the investigation under special control.
