Telegram channels associated with security forces, such as Mash and "Baza," claim that the shots were fired at the general's back.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under articles concerning attempted murder and illegal trafficking of firearms.
Since 2011, Vladimir Alexeev has held the position of First Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia.
He participated in military operations in Syria and was awarded the title of Hero of Russia in 2017.
Additionally, the general holds the Order of "For Merit to the Fatherland" IV class and the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
