The production base, which was previously illegally privatized in Bishkek, has been returned to the state. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to the information provided, the committee's employees discovered corruption schemes related to the alienation of property located at: 1a Timur Frunze Street. This includes workshops, warehouses, and a land plot of 0.64 hectares.
The investigation revealed that in 1988, a limited liability company "Aibol" was established on the basis of the Housing and Utilities Enterprise "Kyrgyzkurulush." The state transferred the production base to this organization on the condition that it would engage in the maintenance of residential buildings. Changing the scope of activities was prohibited without the unanimous consent of the founders.
However, since 2010, the communal activities were discontinued, and the property began to be used for commercial purposes. Control over it was transferred to a citizen D.B., who at that time held the position of deputy head of the government office, through his mother, who was appointed as the director of the company.
During the inspection, D.B. admitted that the privatization was illegal. He agreed to return the base and the land plot to the balance of the State Agency for Management of State Property (GAUGI) for the purpose of compensation for damages.
In the near future, an assessment of the land by experts is expected, after which the property will be transferred to the mayor's office of the capital.
