Suspect detained for fraud with patents and financial resources
Senior inspector working in the department for the control of excise goods of the State Tax Service in the Lenin district, Sh.U.U., was arrested in Bishkek. This was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the committee, he has been charged with corruption and abuse of office. The suspect provided "consulting services" to several accounting firms for processing patents for commercial activities. Since the beginning of 2024 until now, he has earned over 600,000 soms for his services.
However, according to the investigation's version, he was actually issuing counterfeit patents that were not registered in the unified taxpayer database, and embezzled the money received.
As part of the criminal case under investigation, Sh.U.U. has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS Penitentiary Service.
