The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) received information about abuses committed by officials of the State Tax Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Sh.U.U., serving as a senior inspector in the department for the control of excise goods of the State Tax Service for the Lenin district of Bishkek, unlawfully provided consulting services to several accounting firms, assisting them in obtaining patents for conducting commercial activities.
According to the data, from 2024 to the present day, the suspect earned over 600,000 soms from entrepreneurs for facilitating the issuance of tax patents.
According to the SCNS, this tax service official was actually issuing fake patents that were not registered in the unified taxpayer database, and appropriated the funds received.
As a result of investigative and operational measures conducted within the framework of the criminal case, Sh.U.U. was detained on January 27, 2025, and placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS of Kyrgyzstan in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, additional investigations are ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this case.
