A statement was submitted to law enforcement on January 11 by a citizen identified as T.K., born in 1999. She approached the police department of the Issyk-Ata district, requesting action against the employee of the pawnshop located in Kant.
Investigative actions revealed that the suspect, S.M., born in 1986, held the position of appraiser-cashier and was responsible for the material assets. She was issuing fictitious loans at inflated values and embezzling funds.

According to preliminary data, from November 2024 to the end of December 2025, the suspect managed to embezzle about 4 million soms.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 "Embezzlement and Misappropriation of Entrusted Property" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
